Feedback from some families of our Supported People
“As a family, we have seen the team go above and beyond in the way they support our relative, always treating them with dignity and respect. Several staff members have made a real difference, and Tracy in particular stands out. She is supportive, attentive and deeply committed to the people she supports. Her warmth and dedication give us real confidence and reassurance as a family”
“Tracy goes over and above the call of duty in caring for our son. We appreciate the effort she makes when helping him deal with everyday events. She also organises days out for the house and even a camping trip last year.”
“Where do I start? With regards to supporting Owen you have been exactly that, very supportive and helpful to him and ourselves. Recently this is whilst he has experienced a pronounced dip in his mental health. Your engagement with the mental health team at Waverley Road has helped get more focus on his medication which is crucial at this time. Your rapport with Owen is very good and you have a really good understanding of him. You are also helping Owen develop by introducing him to new activities.
Further to this you have helped Owen retrieve money that he has spent erroneously as a result of his condition. This is really appreciated and clearly going beyond the remit of your work. You also take Owen and other Service Users on trips out and we know if you are involved he is in safe hands. We really appreciate the work you put in and would like to thank you for it.”
“Tracy is a wonderful person and I’m so glad she is working with my son. She’s so kind and nurturing and wants the best for him. He’s very challenging at times and she manages all this with a smile leading him to recovery. It’s clear that this work is much more than just a job for her, she really cares for the service users. They are so lucky to have her with them.”
“Tracy is an awesome, friendly and a great listener. My encounters with her have been exceptional and outstanding she tries to get a solution for any queries l have had about my son. I can’t thank her enough.”
